Community Advisory Board

The MHP CAB seeks to provide support, encouragement and tools peers need, to inspire in them hope and the means to help themselves.

Our Mission

The Community Advisory Board’s mission is to meet the greatest number of the mental health community’s needs through direct communication among the Mental Health Project, its clients, and the wider community.

What We Do

The Community Advisory Board meets every other month:

  • Review and provide input on the Mental Health Project’s services and programming
  • Inform staff about the current needs of diverse groups within the mental health community
  • Educate the mental health community about the services and programming offered at the Mental Health Project
  • Educate the Mental Health Project about other organizations, programs, and activities that may provide opportunities for coordination or collaboration
